Beach Watch

48″ x 48″ | Oil Encaustic | In my new home

I haven’t been blogging for a while as I was traveling in Ireland and when my husband and I returned to the USA we closed on a new home. Yea…  more space to create paintings. Inspiration all around as we are moving near the beach, inter coastal and marsh all subjects I love to paint. Figurative work still pushes and challenges my painting so of course that’s a ” must”.

Art Walks in St Augustine have gone from strength to strength. The gallery’s stay open late on the first Friday of every month and visitors have the chance to talk about art and meet the artists exhibiting. It was a delight that so many people visited the “Worley Faver Gallery” and showed an interest in my painting in particular there were lots of questions about the encaustic technique. So thus the choice painting – Beach Watch.
