Art on Centre Gallery, is located at 503 Centre Street. They will be hosting artist Claire J Kendrick this Saturday for an Artist Appearance, Claire will be taking about her Landscape and Seascape works of Art inspired by the area and her oil paintings will be exhibiting in the gallery. F

As the Concours D’Elegance is hosted at the prestigious Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island this weekend, car enthusiasts and collectors gather from around the country come to admire and attend the auction held by Sotherby’s. They present an incredible selection of the worlds most desirable automobiles setting numerable auction benchmarks in the process.

The nearby town of Fernandina features lovely Victorian-era architecture, step back in time to the simpler days of yesteryear by exploring Amelia Island’s riverfront city, Fernandina Beach. Wander around this area dubbed “downtown,” that branches out from the riverfront with central business corridor of Centre Street (pictured above).

With historic district of 50-plus blocks on the National Register of Historic Places, there’s plenty to discover downtown. Fernandina features 400-plus historic structures on the National Register of Historic Places. Gaze at historic homes, churches, and commercial buildings.

Potter Worley Faver and Visual Artist CJK represented by Plum Gallery.

“Plum Gallery Pop Up” – is an innovative space — important to mention it is a permanent exhibition and studio space for Potter, Worley Faver. The gallery hosts a collection of breathtaking pottery all hand built by the ancient potter. A museum quality collection of vessels, pots and sculpture represents hundreds of hours of work. The gallery invited visual artist CJK to show her oil painting landscapes and still life works, in the gallery located in the heart of St. Augustine’s Downtown Art District. (Nov 2018 – Jan 2019) – Thanks to all who came to visit.

“It is an honor to exhibit with Master Potter Worley Faver, it’s with respect and pride that my paintings are displayed harmoniously with Faver Pottery. As an artist, I learn and grow from the opportunity to exhibit our work and to be guided by Worley’s wisdom and experience. He is a deeply creative person and shares his knowledge generously. “

Faver and Kendrick are established artists with strong national and international followings. The award winning pair are exhibiting at Plum Pop Up Gallery to attract potential buyers and followers of their work to St. Augustine. They support the local art community and have always maintained a presence locally. Kendrick will rotate works of art into the main gallery on Aviles Street Feb 1st, 2019. Call into see new Visual Artsist exhibiting every three months. Jeanne Hollington will be Exhibiting at the Pop Up Gallery (Feb – April 2019).

This intimate gallery space has been given a “Plum” transformation by artist and gallerist Karen Sheridan, owner of Plum Gallery at 10 Aviles Street.

Plum Pop Up Gallery – will be a permanent exhibition and studio space for Potter, Worley Faver. The gallery will invite and attract other artists and provide unique solo show opportunities for 2D artists in the heart of St. Augustine’s Downtown Art District. For the next few months, visual artist Claire J Kendrick will exhibit landscape and botanical paintings.
