Here are a few new paintings in the Botanical Series – This small painting inspired the large work below – I was attracted to the muted tones and calm clean palette. I was inspired to do this larger painting ” Dancing Irises” having painted a smaller version of this still life set up ” Vase and Vessel”. The Irises provide rhythm and movement in a calm muted set up. – I like the play of frenzy and composure. Peaceful Pose
