Art Unleashed
Art Unleashed was a great event held downtown Jacksonville. The Charity FCNMHP – First Coast No More Homeless Pets had an art action with over 150 artists involved. The highest bidder gets the artwork it was a great night as my painting was awarded “Best in the Painting Category”. It was a painting of our rescue dog and SOLD to a fellow animal lover. The Fourth Annual Flagler Beach Paint Out
Guest Judges were Peter Cerreta and Kathleen Maling. I picked up 2nd place for a ‘plein air’ oil study of the magnificent cactus that grows in the sand dunes all along the A1A. I was so amazed by the stunning plants that I asked one of the locals, if people had actually planted them, only to be told they are all native to the region.
