Irish Open House & Art Exhibition – Saturday 5th, December – 12-3pm

A selection of 20 small paintings by artist Claire Jane Kendrick will be exhibited and for sale at The Lime Kiln, Portnablagh, Co. Donegal.

Claire was born and grew up in Ireland and moved to the United States in 2006. She has become an established artist in the USA with a growing collector base. Her work has been published in Florida Design Magazine and highlighted in American Art Collector Magazine.

With a love of Donegal she and her family return for holidays to “The Lime Kiln”, a family homestead and project started by Claire’s parents who lovingly restored the 150 year old stone building. It’s where her family gathers and she knew it would appeal to others as a holiday rental.

“Ireland has such a rich tapestry of writers, artists and musicians, it’s no surprise friends and family have been so supportive in my art career. This exhibition will have a broad appeal – there will be a selection of still life, landscape and seascapes. It’s also a chance to see the restoration and conversion of a historic building in the Donegal Area”. – CJK
