It is the Centennial Year for the National Park Service and three talented local artists represented by Plum Art Gallery, Aviles Street will be participating. Jeanne Hollington, Karlene McConnell and Claire Kendrick, will be painting on locations at Castillo De San Marcos,
and Fort Matanzas National Monument’s, St. Augustine, Florida.
Artists from across the region will be participating during National Park Week from April 16 to 24, 2016. An exhibition of all the works of art will be on display from June 9 to Aug 31, 2016, at the Lightner Museum, 75 King Street, St Augustine.
Artists, regardless of residency, who love parks, history and The Great Outdoors are invited to participate in – Find Your Park Plein Air.
