Underwater Love

20″ x 20″ | Encaustic | In studio We have had a week of rainfall with Topical Storm Debbie so I have been forced to work in the studio. This painting is a combination of oil paint and wax. If there is a dry spell I take the painting outside and fire up the blow torch, and fling a few flames and continue painting. Miles of Beach

Oil paint mixed with wax and brought outside, with a blow torch melt heavy layers of paint being careful not to burn areas.
